Here'S to andy rooney
What a guy
Read an Andy Rooney book. It was kinda funny, kinda dated (of course), and kinda wise/ full of good advice. I've often thought about writing my own self-help book. Started one a few years back, but lost my will to write any more and began to think that I was just full of myself and that I had absolutely no right whatsoever to write such trash (was correctly assuming). Alas, here are some sayings, rules, quotes, and axioms that I have learned and pretty much know to be at least partially true in some sense.

Don't write something unless you are okay with everyone reading it.

Just think the worst about people and you'll probably be right
If it looks like a duck, waddles like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it's probably a fucking duck
There may be bugs on sum of yer mugs, but there ain't no bugs on me 🎶
There is no such thing as an atheist in the foxhole
It is better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6
